STEPS OF PRINTING

  1. Approval of Logo art work.

Once we get logo with size from you, our graphic designers will make to logo in a print ready format and send you for approval.

  1. Making the Screen

After the approval, the next step is to separate each colour ( in case the logo has more than 1 color )  in the design. This is done by printing each part of the design onto its own clear film using a laser printer.

After that, we make the screens; a screen printing frame made of an aluminum frame with polyester mesh stretched over it.

A stencil of the logo is made by blocking parts of the screen in the negative space around your design by using a film or emulsion that is coated onto the screen. The frame and screen are put through a process in a dark room which hardens the light sensitive emulsion leaving behind a clean area in the mesh which is exact to your design.

After the screen has been exposed, it is rinsed with water and the clean area of the mesh, without emulsion, which have not hardened after exposure, rinses out leaving that area of the mesh open so  we can print ink through it.

  1. Setting the press for printing.

Once the screens are dried and frame is lined with tape which prevents ink staining the screen and the printing object. The print screens are then set up onto the printing table.

Then the screens are carefully aligned to the precision marks, so they print where they are supposed to exactly, and the edges are taped.  The products are tensioned and then placed under the screen. Now we’re ready to print.

  1. Preparing the colors with ink

Once the press is ready for printing, than the inks are mixed to make the desired colours as per order.

We can match PANTONE PMS colours using most types of screen printing.

  1. Ready for printing!

Now we are ready for print. A layer of ink will be lowered on top of the screen.   The printing is started. Each printed product is placed around a platen and a special spray adhesive is used to hold it in place. A squeegee is used to press the ink through the mesh screen onto the garment to print your design; a separate screen is required for each colour in the design.

First few pieces are checked for color matching, sharpness and neat printing.  Once adjusted and approved for printing, than mass printing is started till finish.

  1. Dry & pack

After the drying the printing bag, manual checking is done of each and every bag and packing in done as per the instruction of the client as to pack of 10 or 50 according to the instruction.
